Inaugurated in 2013, Carasso Science Park is the largest such centre in Israel. It aims to develop the interest of science and new technologies. To do this, it offers a multitude of fun experiments that day younger and also their parents. The main building was the Turkish Building or School for Sheikhs'Children, a building housed in a school during the First World War, and served as a bunkhouse in the years following the country's independence.
