NETANYA MUSEUM
The Netanya Museum tells the story of the city since its foundation in 1929. The museum is housed in a building that was once a weaving workshop for blind girls. The "Beit Ora" workshop opened in 1958 and operated until the early 1990s. The permanent exhibition traces the vision of the founders of the town that emerged from the sands. Initially, they created an agricultural commune, but the plan for a resort town was there from the outset. The town played an active role in the underground struggle for statehood.
