ROMAN AQUEDUCT
The remains of this magnificent 2nd-century Roman aqueduct cross Aqueduct Beach, the beach to the north of the archaeological site, also known simply as Caesarae Beach. It's much quieter than the archaeological site at the old port and well worth a visit. The beach is partly supervised and the water is delicious. The site's national park can be reached via the Israel National Trail, which runs from ancient Caesarea to the Arab village of Jisr Az-Zarqa, 4 km to the north. It's a wonderful walk along the beach.
