Buses connect Haifa to the main cities of the country. It takes about 1 hour from Tel Aviv (lines 910 and 921) and about 1 hour and 40 minutes from Jerusalem (line 960). There are two bus stations in Haifa: Merkazit Hamifratz in the north and Hof HaCarmel at the entrance to the city. They are served by Egged (egged.co.il) and Nateev Express (nateevexpress.com) buses, which take you to other locations. Both are located on the outskirts of the city. For a getaway in the centre of the coastal town, we recommend the train.
