In 1775, the city of Acre was besieged by an Ottoman officer named Ahmed al-Jazzar, who made it the main commercial city in the region. It is under his impulse that mosques, but also hammams (baths) and bazaars are created. Abandoned in 1948 during the conquest of the Old City by the Israeli army, the bazaar now houses small shops specializing in the sale of souvenirs and art objects for tourists. Without being of exceptional interest, it allows you to immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.
