This hammam was built in 1795 by Al-Jazzar. The story of the hammam and the city is told here through a fiction featuring a family of bath masters. It's a little kitschy, but rather distracting. We learn in particular that the hammam, much more than a simple bath, played the role of a real focus of social life. A first room served as a cloakroom, with a marble fountain in the centre. From there, a corridor leads to a series of rooms that were filled with steam before arriving at a hexagonal room topped by a dome.
