Located on a rocky spur, this cross fortress was built in the th century to protect Saint-Jean-d'Acre. At the beginning of the th century, it became the seat of the great masters of the Teutonic Order. In 1271, the Mameluk took the fortress but left the knights teutonic to Saint-Jean-d'Acre. Since then, the castle has been abandoned, and there is still little left. The walk to reach the ruins nevertheless remains very pleasant.
