This cableway takes you to the top of Mount Temptation in just a few minutes, providing effortless access to the Temptation Monastery. The view over Jericho and the archaeological site of Tel es-Sultan is breathtaking. It's also an opportunity to admire the contrast between the surrounding desert landscape and the oasis that is Jericho. Two restaurants belonging to the operating company are located at the departure and arrival stations. Needless to say, the view from the terrace of the Temptation Restaurant is exceptional.

Prendre le téléphérique est le meilleur moyen pour arriver au monastère d'où la vue sera merveilleuse sur toute la ville. La visite du monastère est à ne pas manquer, vous y rencontrerez peut-l'un des deux derniers moines qui y vivent encore. Si votre guide est convainquant, il vous ouvrira l'une ou l'autre pièce rien que pour vous (enfin, c'est ce que l'on raconte peut-être à tous les touristes). Je vous conseille, avant la descente, de terminer par un délicieux jus de fruits sur la terrasse dominant toute la ville.
