FAUZI AZAR BY ABRAHAM
Located in the heart of the old town, in the souk, this superb establishment is located a stone's throw from all the main tourist attractions. Maoz and the granddaughter of the original owner of the house developed it while keeping the conviviality that is often lacking in many guest rooms. They are assisted in their task by a multilingual staff from all over the world (among them, Rasha speaks French). This establishment was originally an 18th century Arab mansion typical of the region, with arched windows, marble floors and superb frescoed ceilings. The establishment offers rooms for all budgets around its pleasant patio on the first floor, which makes it an excellent place to explore the region. It is the ideal place to start on the Jesus Trail, whose designers are part of the site management team.
In total, the Fauzi now has 9 private rooms with showers (3 of which are planned with TV), 3 mixed dormitories (10, 6 and 6 beds) and 1 female dormitory (6 beds, in the form of 3 bunk beds). Hair dryers are available in all rooms and in the women's dormitory.
The establishment, which is associated with the Abraham Hostel in Jerusalem and the Abraham Hostel in Tel Aviv, offers a 3-hour historical guided tour (in addition to the traditional tour already planned free of charge every day for newcomers), courses in Arabic cuisine and cooking with tasting at the end, oriental musical instruments (ud), and movie evenings with popcorn. This is a great opportunity to meet and exchange. It should also be noted that a daily shuttle service has been set up between the group's hostels (Tel Aviv - Jerusalem - Nazareth), with discount possibilities on the various hostels and transport depending on the total number of nights.
