MARY INTERNATIONAL CENTRE OF NAZARETH
This centre, inaugurated in March 2011, was created by the Association Marie de Nazareth, a French non-profit association. The animation was entrusted to the Nine-Way Catholic community, a Catholic vocation community, in about countries. The centre enjoys the support of the Churches of the Holy Land (Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Anglican). Among them is a one-hour multimedia show, distributed in a four-room journey to discover the Scriptures, with Mary, from Creation to the Passion and Resurrection of Jesus. The site also houses an archaeological site of a house of the era of Jesus and a chapel on the terrace: the unit's chapel. In the last three frescoes (the Annunciation, the Holy Family, the Dome) and 20 icons representing the mystery of the Rosary. These works were performed by Ruter and Kaspar Poikans, two artists specializing in religious art. Cafeteria and shop.
