BELVOIR (KOKHAV HAYARDEN) NATIONAL PARK
This archaeological site is located at the eastern end of the Plateau plateau (Kokhav plateau), overlooking the Jordan Valley. There are archaeological remains from different epochs, including ruins of a magnificent fortress of the era of the Crusades. The citadel protruding the Jordan Valley in 1168 by the hospital. However, the building did not live more than years ago: Saladin was a success in 1189, and was soon disbanded. The fortifications are relatively well preserved, but above all the beautiful view of the Jezreel valley. Sculptures by Israeli artist Yigael Tumarkin are exposed south of the fortress.
