The tomb of poet Rachel Bluwstein, known as Rachel, is located in the Kibbutz cemetery of Kinneret. Born in Russia on September 20, 1891, she migrated to Palestine in 1909 where she began writing poems in Hebrew. She lived in the kibbutzim of Kinneret and Degania where she worked the land. She died of tuberculosis on April 16, 1931, at the age of 41, only in Tel Aviv, after being expelled from the kibbutz of Degania for fear of contagion. His poems in which she expresses her love for the land of Israel are very popular.
