Before landing, you will be asked to fill out a form to be submitted to the authorities. The arrival at the airport is not always in the calm. Some Malians are not bothered to move ahead in the queue. After the entry formalities, you will be very quickly démarché by vendors of telephone cards, people making the exchange and taxi drivers. It's often oppressive, it's all about keeping calm and knowing where you need to go. If you are not waiting, you will have to take the taxi (there is no bus connecting the airport to the city centre). Taxis are yellow and the price of the race between the airport and the city centre costs about 8 000 FCFA (half an hour allows to reach downtown from the airport). We must negotiate firmly every time we take a taxi.
