We left family to discover Mali this winter without much know what to expect us. Thanks to Aboutour, we made one of our most beautiful travels!
Sheik and Renee prepared us bespoke travel which enabled us to discover absolutely magical places under incredible conditions: The extreme sympathy and friendliness of Sheikh who leads us through the country to discover the fascinating cities of Mopti, Ségou or Djenné, and the amazing landscapes Dogon country were constantly relieved by exciting guides who told the history and culture of the place. And every, charming hotels reserved excellent welcome to us.
A wonderful souvenir was the two days increase the Niger river in a pinasse earning it us one or two hours navigation of night under magnificent night sky before sleeping under the tent. The superb reflection of the landscapes Malians - already in itself on the water is really worth a visit!
Moreover, far from being bothered by hours we could constantly adapt our tour if we wish to take a walk in the Dogon country or to our visit with a stopover.
Thousand mercies with Aboutour, we enjoy ourselves!

Hello,
we left my friend on holiday to Mali via this new agency in January. It is a friend who had recommended to us.
We spent in top holidays, a faultless!
It is an agency run by a couple (Renée Oberson, French and Cheick Tamboura, Malian) which offers package trips for small groups. Several types of stays are available (sports, cultural and tourist) and can be altered by the guest with its own way during booking (eg.: to stay two days more such square, take a detour via such site, to sleep in luxury hotels or on the contrary to camp with open air, see hippopotamuses absolutely! , etc.). In short, a very flexible and adapted to the needs and paths, the simplest requests with the most eccentric!
Once there, Renee and Cheick deal with all: they are driver, guide in turn, negotiating for amplettes (!), intendant, etc. the fact that Cheick is an old guide, Malian in addition, enormously facilitate contact with people and make the trip easier. For not bad of specific tours, they also call on local guides and are very attached to discover local initiatives and to develop.
In short, with two they really thrash about, are listening and very attentive to the well-being of their guests.
To sum up, it is all the benefits of an organised trip (comfort, no concerns for organisation, etc.) but, and that is what makes all the difference, without the inconveniences! (real meetings, no unnecessary expenses, intelligent and solidarity tourism, discretion, respect and valorization culture Malian and its traditions).
We can only recommend this agency to integrate in your "good plans". I prefer to give you rather my felt on this journey than to indicate practical information, on the one hand because all this information is on their site, on the other hand because prices vary according to the chosen stay.
I thank you for your attention.

Family of four people two teenagers, we made 7 day tour, Eyes on Mali, personalised to adapt to our arrival days
and departure in Bamako and in Djenné Monday, market day.
Cheick, large expert of its country, has us to guide and cheery safely, throughout the week, while showing us all aspects of the daily life of the country.
The tour includes the must-see sights, but the great selected Dogon country: Sangha, Teli, Indeli, Begnemato are well chosen.
We were a little afraid to find much tourists in Dogon country, and people perverted a little by tourism, you did not feel it on site,
and it was rare that we cross " toubabs" (white) during our days.
Special mention for " Jean pierre" our local guide Dogon for its friendliness and attention during our steps.
Mali is a tourist country step like the others, rich in its attractions, but mostly of its inhabitants.
The friendly people, cheery are everywhere, whatever the difficulties of the country.
To discover the country with Aboutours agency is a good way to realise it!
