L’AUBERGE SELAHATA

The Hostel is not easy to find. To get there from the airport: take the direction of the city centre, then the first light on the left (motorway). Then take the third light on the left and continue on 800 m.

It has four rooms (one air-conditioned and three ventilated) with indoor shower. Count 14 000 FCFA for one double room, 8 500 FCFA for a double bedroom. Breakfast included. Possibility of renting a passenger vehicle (30 000 FCFA), minibus and 4 x 4 on demand. This hostel is a great part of culture: managed by Solomane Tounkara (brother of the famous Malian guitarist) and his wife, both descendants of griots families, she is also a cultural space. At weekends you can hear traditional mandingue music, tales and legends. There is also a bar, terrace and restaurant (the menu is 2 800 CFA).
