Go there and contact
From 20 to 24 November 2008 in Bamako. This festival wants to be the greatest meeting of African literature. For ten days, the writing in all its forms holds the top of the pavement. Writers go to colleges, high schools and university to share their work, but they also focus directly on a large population with storytelling workshops, high-voice readings and poetry recitals. Fifty non-Malian authors are invited to attend. They are Francophone, Anglophone, Portuguese, European and Asian African, their works appear in French or are translated into that language. At these speakers, there are about Malian writers. The festival maintains its international character and affects several cities of the interior (Kayes, Kita, Koulikoro, Segou, Mopti and Timbuktu). The popular character of the event makes it a real tool for development for Mali.
