FESTIVAL SUR LE NIGER

For the past 8 years, Segou has been dancing around the world at the festival on Niger. A single word of order for this vital city on the tourist journey: opening up to the world. Because we cannot survive without others, Segou organises four days of festivities, concerts and reflection forums. The city, the capital of the Bambara kingdom, is proud of its artistic and cultural richness, which it puts forward at the festival and pays tribute to the river that is the source of its prosperity. The forum, artistic animations and other concerts bring together more than a thousand people a year and an average of 22 nationalities are represented. The 2012 edition promises a frank appointment around the themes «Creation and Development».
