It is the least expensive that I found in Timbuktu, after small negotiation for a mattress on the concrete terrace (it is nicknamed the " camping"). 3000 or 4000 F.
Decent, because everything is expensive in Timbuktu from all is imported by pinasse of goods, it is a bit the end of the Timbuktu world.
But good, the place is correct, clean and nice people! For travellers thus

A campsite ideal for rucksacks without money, not very jealous of the decor and atmosphere...trend soldiers in goguettes...

From the geographical point of view, it is located 1/4h " house artisans" in the city centre. The hotel is constantly closed (not merchants coming to show their goods " just for the regard".
In comparison, I tried the Bouctou hotel in the city centre, but nothing to see. With your meal on the terrace you will be very solicited. The rooms have no sink, or toilet, you should go outside, but the places are not very attractive (no light, son that hang...)
Super, when France authorised tourism in Mali, if you want a good accommodation with Timbuktu, Y.
I did not try the Dove, but the pool is open to people from outside to cool off.
