A proper establishment. The doors, typical of Timbuktu, open onto a vast inner courtyard. The decor is reminiscent of a caravanserai. The rooms are spacious but without great comfort. In short, just the right thing. The breakfast in front of the dunes is very pleasant. On the other hand, the traveller is often asked by local guides and merchants.

The place does not correspond to the description of the writer Petit Futé (desolate)! who certainly did not have time to deepen.
There is a concrete main building with compact rooms overlooking a terrace where all the guides live while waiting for their prey. Even the hairdresser!
The annexe is surprising, since it is actually an old stone building boutique alhor which probably had its heyday. Tourists are located in unhealthy dormitories or tiny rooms (mattresses and torn mosquito nets and I go from)
It is a shame such a heritage is abandoned. Timbuktu needs some so!
