The festival celebrated its 10 years in 2010. The ancient imperial city of Gao hosts traditional dance performances, tacamba music, horse races and canoes, tales and legends of the Songhai ethnic Group which founded one of the greatest empires in West Africa's history. You can also discover the unknown people (who live in Mali and Niger in particular) through conferences.
