A mall with a sulphurous history! Abdul Waked, who in 2015 invested nearly $400 million to build the capital's most chic shopping mall, was on the Clinton list in 2016. The companies and individuals on this list, linked to the laundering of drug-trafficking money, were banned from any commercial or financial transactions with American citizens. A number of stores have had to close their doors, and while Soho Mall is now owned by a Mexican group, the luxury brands still stand side by side with many empty premises.
