The community, of about 100 people, is located 45 minutes by pirogue from the "port" of Corotú. Ask for Johnson, the president of the community tourism, to have an English speaking contact person, and you will be greeted by the sound of drums. The key words are sharing and interknowledge since the beginning of their tourism project initiated in 1996. Their organization as a cooperative allows that the profit of the reception is given to all the families who play a role in this project, thus supporting the safeguard of their cultural heritage.
