PENONOMY MUSEUM
This interesting museum was built in 1981 in the old house of the Tejeira family. This more than one hundred year old house was the birthplace of the writer Gil Blas Tejeira, considered the father of Panamanian journalism. This beautiful white and blue house offers 4 small rooms where you can admire religious sculptures, furniture and manuscripts from the colonial era, and precious pre-Hispanic ceramics found in the sites of Conte and El Caño. You can also learn about the art of making the sombrero pintao and the cucua culture.
