The beach is located at a quarter of an hour from the center by a pretty road which passes in the middle of the salt flats. A wild stretch of grey sand surrounded by mangroves that overlooks the bay of Parita. The water is shallow and gives way to large sandy areas at low tide. Pools have been built in a rocky area. They fill up at high tide and are accessible at low tide for a safe salt bath. Beware of the tide which rises quickly, and bring sun cream and mosquito repellent, just in case...
