A religious festival bathed in folklore, dating from the century, where the Archangel Michael and the Devil Mayor confront each other.
Sixty days after Easter, Corpus Christi commemorates the institution of the sacrament of the Eucharist. A religious festival celebrated throughout the country, but especially in La Villa de Los Santos, where it lasts a good two weeks. This festivity dates back to the sixteenth century, with the arrival of the Spaniards who came to evangelize the local population. Today the event attracts crowds. It is possible to admire beautiful flower carpets, beautiful masks and the famous dances ("danzas") of the Diablícos sucios or Del Torito, among others.
