MUSEUM OF NATIONALITIES
This museum, inaugurated by General Torrijos, opened on November 10, 1974, the anniversary of the "Cry of Independence". As headquarters of the Liberals during the Thousand Days War, as a public school, as a salt storehouse or as a private house, this building has had many lives! It is even said that the independence of Panama was proclaimed here in 1821. The collections, including the one on the history of the independence movement, or the reconstruction of a typical Azuero kitchen, would benefit from being enriched and accompanied by legends. There is a nice garden at the back of the house.
