Don Manuel F. Zárate (1899-1968), a great specialist in folklore, to which he dedicated three books, was the originator of the first festival of La Mejorana in 1949. The town of Guararé pays homage to him in this museum, which was opened in 1969 and which the entire population helped to build. This establishment is classified as a national monument. During the visit to the two rooms, you will find photos, masks, costumes and many testimonies of the previous festivals.
