MUSEO BELISARIO PORRAS
This museum pays tribute to Belisario Porras, a historical figure of the country who was three times president of the Republic between 1912 and 1924. He was the leader of the liberal revolution of the Isthmus in 1901 and was responsible for the construction of the railroad in Chiriquí. The whole life of this native of Las Tablas is shown through photos and objects: the uniform he wore at the Hague Convention, decorations, furniture, clothes... In the center of the only room, you can see the sarcophagus in which his remains have not yet been transported.
