Boquete is one of the few places in Panama where you can practice rock climbing. Access to the routes is only allowed with a certified guide. Gunko is the most popular cliff, about twenty routes from 13 to 20 meters, for all levels (from 3 sup to 8b). The rock is volcanic, a solid basalt, and the routes are rather well equipped. To climb the local rock of Los Ladrillos or to train in a "boulder", book directly with Christian by WhatsApp or at the reception of the Isla Verde hotel.
