PARISH CHURCH
Ydes was a center of templar founded in the th century. The church passed in 1315 to the knights of Saint-Jean-de-Jerusalem. This explains the richness of the ornementaion of the building, whose plan is very simple. Before entering the interior you can admire the porch. On each side, two niches were built under arcades, supported by columns. On one side, a scene representing the Annunciation, and on the other, Daniel in the pit to the lions and the prophet Habacuc. At the heart of the eardrum is an enigmatic head named the Salguebrou. This head has the role of defending church access to bad spirits. Take a look at the beautiful sculpted crows that adorn your bedside. This building is undoubtedly one of the richest places of worship in the region, through its scholarly and religious representations that can be observed both inside and outside the church.
