There's a water-taxi shuttle service between Port of Spain and San Fernando, the island's second-largest city, ideal for getting around without a car. Tickets can be purchased at the port up to one week in advance. No boats on Sundays.
POS > San Fernando : weekdays 7.15 am, 2.30 pm, 3.30 pm, 4.30 pm, Saturdays 4.45 pm only, but please enquire beforehand.
San Fernando > POS weekdays 6am, 6.30am, 8.30am, 3.30pm, Saturday 9.30am. Timetables are subject to change as many services have been discontinued since 2020 and are due to return gradually.
