You can buy your ticket in Port of Spain, at the port, which is the best solution. Alternatively, you can book online. Ferries from Tobago dock opposite the Twin Towers in Downtown. Three ferries operate daily between the two capitals. The ferries are fully equipped to transport vehicles. It's a pleasant trip, with the opportunity to admire Trinidad's north coast, which is the most beautiful on the island. There are 4 to 5 boats a day in both directions, from 6.30 a.m. to 11 p.m. (check the timetable on the website day by day).
