WHITEHALL
The architecture of this residence, which is part of the Magnificent Seven, is of Venetian inspiration. Originally commissioned by a wealthy cocoa planter of Corsican origin, J. L. Agostini, the house was requisitioned by the U.S. Army, which made it one of its headquarters from 1940 to 1944. Bought by the Trinidadian government in 1954, it will become the house of the Prime Minister, before being emptied because of renovation works. Today it is owned by the Ministry of Tourism, which organizes various events there.
