Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes boasts beautiful 1850s architecture, with its pink tympanum façade framed by two massive towers. It was one of the first churches of the bishopric of Trinidad. Its Gothic architecture features beautiful stained-glass windows and elaborate carvings. The church is adorned with statues and paintings of the Virgin Mary, and the altar is the focal point of the building. Overlooking the busy Morne Coco Road, the church has a small terraced cemetery that is well worth a visit.
