This small Bed & Breakfast run by Clare and Gerry has only two rooms. They are nevertheless well furnished, well equipped (air conditioning, small fridge, TV and Wi-Fi) and very clean. The hosts are friendly and their house is very pleasant with a nice garden, in a quiet and residential area. The breakfasts are delicious, and if you wish you can have lunch or dinner on the spot, you just have to inform your hosts the day before. A good step before attacking the road to Blanchisseuse which requires to be well rested!

Maintaining is in our turn to pass to our experience in this friendly Bed & Breakfast run by Clare and Gerry. Because they need to be known. We stayed here 1 week in February 2012, just before the Trinidad carnaval, and this with our four child- teenagers. Ixora Place is located Arima, in a very quiet and safe residential area. By car it is about 15 minutes from the airport Piarco. Not far from the main roads to Port - of - spain and Trinity Lobby (Large shopping centre), which are both a 15 minute drive away.
In fact, it is perfectly located for those who want to get on Trinidad without staying at Port - of - spain and rents a car. Even if the traffic is sometimes very dense and that you spoils not bad time in the traffic jams Arima remains central to discover Trinidad. Here is the location.
Clare and Gerry made us an extraordinary welcome. Discreet, without being intrusive, they were with our listening, divided with us and our children much information on Trinidad and the Carnival (which we have ensuiter discovered at Port - of - spain) and helped us when we had a problem with a car rental. The house is charming, clean. There are two air-conditioned rooms, small fridge, good bed, TV and wi-fi access. 1 bathroom very well equipped and very clean, a small flowery garden. The quiet. For breakfast, Clare prepares superb, diverse and healthy lunches. Food " it maison" , local products Trinidadian. A delight wake up for our young people and us even! On request, they also offer lunch and dinner. For basic, we spent a perfect stay in Ixora Place and we recommend it warmly.
Clare and Gerry amply could be offered in the next edition of Petit Futé! Also note that their B& B is certified TTIC (Trinidad and Tobago Tourism Certificate) and they are a member of Small Tourism Accommodation Owners of Trinidad and Tobago (STAOTT). A very good address including here contacts:
