VERONICA ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH

This beautiful stone church originally built in 1897 in Caura was rebuilt piece by piece after the evacuation of that village and rebuilt here in Lopinot. Built in the pure tradition of the Spanish missions, this church is one of the oldest buildings in Trinidad and makes a great backdrop for photographers. It is located in a very old hamlet and the sound of the mountain and its streams adds an authentic charm to the place.
