This 20 m high lighthouse was built in 1897. It is still frequented by a friendly keeper who chats happily with tourists, even telling them legends. However, since his schedule is whimsical, you have to rely on chance or luck to meet him. From the top of the lighthouse, you can even see the nearby island of Tobago! Around the lighthouse, a park and a pleasant picnic area have been set up. You can have lunch in the shade of almond trees and "sea clusters", typical Caribbean trees.
