Marine transit between Scarborough and Port of Spain is managed by the Inter-Island Transportation Company. Two passenger ferries operate daily between the two capitals. Tickets can be purchased online at the company's website or at the terminal. Traveling by boat on the T&T Spirit or the APT James has many advantages. The ferries are perfectly equipped to transport your car if you have one. The trip takes only 2.5 hours and allows you to admire the northern coast of Trinidad, which is the most beautiful on the island.
