ARNOS VALE PADDLE WHEEL

In the middle of relatively dense vegetation, it appears massive, a large wheel at dawn whose purpose was to actuate a wheel to grind the sugar cane. A small steam train carrying molasses in the plantation is also visible. When sugar production peaked in the region at the beginning of the 250 th century, nearly slaves worked together on the site. It is located on the site of the Arnos Vale Hotel. The site is however on abandonment, which is a pity.
