Hidden behind a wooden door, the Sala Thaï is housed in a pretty Maldivian house. The atmosphere is chic and the decoration warm, whether you sit inside or in the courtyard-garden. On the menu, specialities from the kingdom of Siam are very well prepared. Currys, pad thai, tom yam... all the great classics of Thai cuisine are brilliantly prepared here. It is simply one of the best restaurants in Malé, which may explain the somewhat stuffy service and the high prices. Not to be missed.
