Renovated in 2008, the Velassaru has managed to find a very good compromise between luxury and comfort while keeping a natural and friendly side. Three specialised restaurants (Indian, grill and continental) and a bar provide a 24-hour restaurant service. The hotel, frequented by a mainly European clientele, offers a warm welcome with a French-speaking team. Don't be put off by the number of rooms, the layout of the hotel and the size of the beach mean that there is plenty of room to move around the island in complete tranquillity.
