Restaurant with terrace on a bend in the road suggesting simple dishes.

It's impossible to miss the aptly named La BelleVue restaurant, located on a bend in the road to the left (towards Cacao) and overlooking the village. Here you can rediscover the simple joys of nature and the great outdoors. The welcome is simple and warm, as are the dishes: egg rolls, fish kebabs, banana and pineapple fritters. The view from the terrace is magnificent, dominating the valley. A highly recommended stopover, even if you're not hungry and don't want to eat there: a simple juice or coffee will be enough of an excuse!

Restaurant très agréable et convivial. Nous avons passé un super moment.
Repas excellent très copieux, accueille souriant sur une vue magnifique, nous y retournerons pour nos prochains vacances en Guyane. Nous le recommandant.

On s'y est arrêté juste avant d'arriver sur Cacao, espérant boire un café devant cette superbe vue et éventuellement réserver pour le midi. Sauf qu'on nous a laissés regarder le menu, attendre en regardant avec insistance à l'intérieur sans nous adresser la parole. Les employés passaient à 4 mètres de nous avec nonchalance, sans nous regarder, nous ignorant parfaitement alors qu'on était dans les heures de réception, au moins pour le côté bar. Tout le monde nous a vus mais nous sommes repartis très énervés sans pouvoir accéder à la terrasse. Beau panorama mais carte de brasserie chinoise sans aucun intérêt (brochettes, salades, nems). Ces gens-là ont visiblement trop de clients, nous les avons donc allégés.

my arrived guiana in 1988, we often went has this restaurant that was very well, unfortunately the years spent, and the beautiful view gave way has a bamboo forest which spoils the landscape, warm welcome to " no accueil" , a simple and good with a bad and iced cuisine, a urgently prevent, unless you like canteens just one menu has a 20€ €4 (rolls or salad, then shrimp skewers frozen not peeled or beef skewers not cooked with accompaniment of fried rice also frozen in a plastic bowl, followed by 2 slice of pineapple to control and complete the worst café du monde - I put a 4 sugars) fresh juices, and the highlight of the show the blue is not accepted, it is better to take a soup market, one is rarely disappointed.
