Gum Air, Suriname's second-largest airline, was founded in 1971 and is no longer blacklisted. The company serves some 40 destinations in Suriname and Guyana. Its main flight is a daily service between Paramaribo and Georgetown. Its fleet is made up of 3 small aircraft, which carry passengers and equipment: the Cessna 206 (mainly for cargo, with a maximum of just 5 passengers) and the 208B (12 passengers), as well as the Dehavilland DHC6 (up to 19 passengers).
