The Spanhoek has all the assets of a great hotel. It's the first boutique hotel to open in Paramaribo! The staff are efficient and helpful without being obsequious, and the rooms are clean, bright and air-conditioned, with harmonious tones and perfectly matching wood and rattan furniture, all at reasonable prices. In addition to traditional rooms (from single to quadruple), there are suites and even a penthouse, ideal for a romantic stay. The staff are always on hand to offer advice.
