The Torarica, a saramaca casino-bar entirely decorated with wood carvings, needs no introduction. This is Paramaribo's oldest casino, and until 1998, it was the city's only casino. Slot machines, gaming tables... Happy hour every Friday, Edge bar from 8pm to midnight and entertainment at the end of the night. Since 2017, TorEvents has been organizing the Torarica Group's evenings and events for jazz music, a colorful festival or a lively party with famous artists and DJs.
