Beauzac is a former fortified village of the th century. The castle, church and Beauzacois were protected by ramparts. From the medieval era only the two broken doors, the wooden corbeaux covering the facades of houses built on the ancient ramparts and a defensive tower (the south-east and southwest towers were demolished in the 30 s). The castle of Beauzac itself does not preserve anything authentic. He had a confused succession of copossesseurs. The last, Jean De Columbus, was sold to the congregation of the sisters Saint Joseph in 1686. Today, it is home to private school.
