This astonishing hotel is located between the 35th and 41st floors of a gigantic building at the foot of Little India and a stone's throw from KL Sentral station. Constructed of volcanic rock and wood in an Indonesian-inspired design, it is a kind of retreat in the city. So there's little artifice here, neither whirlpool nor sauna. It does, however, boast an incredible open-roof swimming pool with a magnificent view of Kuala Lumpur and the famous Merdeka 118 tower. The soberly luxurious rooms are spacious and pleasant.
