It is easily recognisable to its large glass facade. The impressive lobby is an introduction to the luxury of the entire hotel, comfortable rooms at the largest business centre (265 m ²) of all hotels in Kuala Lumpur by the tropical garden which was recreated around the swimming pool or the gigantic fitness centre. Its four restaurants have a very good reputation. It seems, however, that the hotel has a little bit to do with its reputation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Moreover, the rather parliament luxury of the whole is not unanimous.

Our room was spacious and clean and it was nice to be able to go for a swim in the pool of Istana hotel when it is more 35°c outside!
Staff also was there to help us to put up with transport in particular to the airport
