The Royal Museum of Kedah is housed in a beautiful colonial building with blinding white. It contains a small collection of objects from the archaeological excavations around Lembah Bujang, including beautiful Chinese porcelain. There is also an ethnological collection that exhibits clothing, manuscripts, weapons and works by contemporary and older artists. A final section covers the eventful history of the Sultanate of Kedah. The museum also offers temporary exhibitions.
