Malacca's bus station is 7.5 km from the city center. Cabs cost RM20 and take around 20 minutes, or take the bus (RM1.40). Some twenty companies are represented, offering frequent departures to all of Malaysia's tourist destinations. If you have booked your bus ticket online, you will need to obtain a boarding pass at the booking desk. To do this, present your ticket on your cell phone.
